      Robert Burns 261st Birthday Celebration Dinner

      Join Asheville Sister Cities International for a traditional birthday celebration of Scotland's National Bard, Robert Burns. The evening will be filled with music, poems, dancing and other merriment. The Burn's dinner is hosted by the Dunkeld and Birnam committee, who recommends Scottish attire for full enjoyment! The celebration begins at 5:30 pm at the Country Club of Asheville. Reserve your space early as seating is limited to 125 attendees. A portion of your ticket price is a charitable donation. Net proceeds from the event go to the Asheville Sister Cities, a registered 501-C-3 organization, Dunkeld and Birnam program activities. The Grand Procession and the Presentation of the Haggis will be followed by a three course meal featuring: Potato-Leek Soup Your choice of main plate Seared Chicken Breast Piccata  Grilled Marinated Flank Steak             Grilled Salmon with Lime Hollandaise Roasted Potatoes Seasonal Vegetable Medley Dark Chocolate Mousse Tables of 8 with designated seating are reservable upon request to the committee, or come ready to meet new friends and neighbors.
