      Wilma Dykeman Riverway Outdoor Series Event #2

      Gather at the Asheville GreenWorks' Riverside Drive office to hear from current and past executive directors, Dawn Chávez, Susan Roderick and Jean Webb about the history of this environmental nonprofit. Then shuttle with French Broad Outfitters to Hominy Creek River Park to begin a canoe/kayak/dory trip down the French Broad River back to Riverside Drive and your cars. Dress for a river trip in mid-summer. Refreshments provided by host Asheville GreenWorks.

      Cost: Free - Learn about the history and river cleanup activities of Asheville GreenWorks from three amazing women who have led this environmental nonprofit, including current executive director Dawn Chávez, and past leaders Susan Roderick and Jean Webb, on an easy summer float down the French Broad River.
